For bookings made via our website/telephone, payment in full is due the morning of arrival. For reservations made via Booking.com, payment of the first night is due within 14 days of arrival, with any remaining balance due the morning of arrival. For all reservations, valid credit/debit card details are required to guarantee the booking.
All major credit and debit cards are accepted. Payment can be made by telephone, via our website, or in person. We also accept payment by BACS.
For direct bookings only, cancellations 7 days or more prior to the arrival date will incur no charge (or a refund of the prepayment of the first night if applicable), but for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the arrival date, the first night is chargeable. For all other bookings, cancellations 14 days or more prior to the arrival date will result in a refund of the prepayment of the first night if applicable, but cancellations less than 14 days prior to the arrival date will result in a charge for the first night. For all bookings, in the event of cancellation 24 hours or less prior to arrival, or in the event of a ‘no show’ or booking reduction (after arrival date), we will charge the full cost of the stay, regardless of the duration.
Should any unforeseen circumstances occur, Wildercombe House reserves the right to transfer the guest to an alternative room of equal specification.
Wildercombe House strongly recommends that you take out holiday insurance to protect your reservation.
We reserve the right to amend the tariff at any time.
VAT is included at the current rate, but may vary subject to any change in government legislation.
